Apollo Bay – "Paradise by the Sea", the perfect retreat and base to explore the Great Ocean Road including the Twelve Apostles, the Otway National Park and the attractions of this breathtaking region. There is plenty to do and see in the region; take a walk amongst the tree tops of Beech Forest at the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, while away the day on a beautiful beach, surf to your heart's content, play golf on arguably one of the most beautiful courses in the country, enjoy the scenic look-outs, rainforest walks, or catch your breath at the top of the Cape Otway Lighthouse. Local festivities and celebrations include the Apollo Bay Music Festival every March/April, January Art and Rural Shows, and on Saturday mornings you can visit the local Arts & Crafts Market on the Apollo Bay foreshore to find that special memento or hand crafted gift.

The family will love the Glow Worm Tours or seal spotting adventures - or take a helicopter ride over the Twelve Apostles and Shipwreck Coast.

At the end of the day dine in one of many superb restaurants or family friendly bistros, or simply enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Bass Strait, and/or relax on the lawned and tree shaded foreshore with children's playground area, skate park and beautiful clean beaches (lifeguard flagged in holiday seasons).

The magnificent harbour shelters the permanent cray fishing fleet, makes for a great stroll or fishing off the pier. The Fishermens Co-op sells fresh fish daily and crays (seasonal). Also a public boat ramp in the wharf area provides safe launching facilities for small craft. The Twelve Apostles are a 79 kilometres drive on the Great Ocean Road from Apollo Bay.
